During your appointment, we can discuss:

  • Medication abortion information

If you are looking to order the abortion pill online, it's important that you first talk to a nurse. On your call, we can share more about the abortion pill, how it works, and what you could expect. We can also help you estimate how far along you are, but we cannot confirm pregnancy gestation, location, or viability without an ultrasound. The abortion pill is only FDA approved for up to 70 days after a woman’s last known period. An ultrasound is the only way to determine how far along you are.

  • In-clinic abortion procedure information

If you are no longer in your first trimester, you may be considering a surgical abortion. We can share more on the different types of abortion procedures, side effects, and your pregnancy rights in New Hampshire.

  • Sexual health and medical history

Note: If you're at risk for a sexually transmitted infection, an STD/STI should be ruled out prior to an abortion to reduce your risk of infection or complications.

  • Pregnancy support and parenting resources

Learn more about the free resources available to you if you choose to parent or continue your pregnancy. We provide free pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, pregnancy support, parenting classes, referrals and more.

Obstetric Ultrasound Can
Help Determine

  • the approximate age of your pregnancy

  • if the pregnancy is viable

  • if there is a potentially life-threatening tubal pregnancy

  • whether or not you are carrying a single fetus or multiples (depending on gestational age)

  • abortions available at fetal age

If you are considering abortion, an ultrasound is needed to determine how far along you are and what options are available to you.
